Arrive fresh. Leave with a deck a board has read

No consulting experience required — and we mean it. Engineers, designers, economists, and social scientists wanted. You'll work directly with a real organisation's leadership for a cycle and leave with a board-ready deliverable you helped build.

Two windows a year

When we recruit

We recruit twice a year, once per consulting cycle. The cycles themselves run October–January and March–June.

Cycle 1

Recruits in September

For the October–January consulting cycle.

Cycle 2

Recruits in January/February

For the March–June consulting cycle.

Two roles

Where you start

Both roles are real work with a real client, not a simulation or a case competition.

Role 01

Consultant

No experience required — and we mean it. Our consultants are engineers, designers, economists, and social scientists who arrive fresh and learn on the job, with a trained team and a Team Leader around them. People sometimes talk themselves out of applying because they think they need consulting experience first — you don't, and it shouldn't stop you.

Role 02

Team Leader

Team Leaders lead a consulting team through a cycle. Experience is wanted here: the usual path is one cycle as a Consultant, then stepping up to Team Leader the next. You'll own scope, client relationship, and quality for your project.

What it involves

A cycle, from your side

  1. You're selected as a 180 Degrees Consultant

    Before the cycle

Applications, then interviews. We recruit for judgement and curiosity, not for a CV that already says "consulting".

  2. Training, then a real client

    Start of cycle

You're placed in a team of 4–6 with a Team Leader, on a scope the client has signed.

  3. The work, and the review

    The cycle

Analysis, client sessions, and a mid-point review. Every deliverable passes our quality system before the client sees it — the reviewer teaches, and you do every rewrite yourself.

  4. You present to the board

    End of cycle

You hand over a board-ready deck and every underlying analysis behind it.

Events

Come meet us first

We run information sessions and social events each recruitment window.
